These terms apply to everyone who visits sportsurfaceking.com, whether you're browsing, sending us a project or signing in to the contractor hub. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Our matching and consulting services are covered by our Terms and Conditions, and how we handle your information is covered by our Privacy Policy. If these terms and the Terms and Conditions ever conflict about our services, the Terms and Conditions apply.
Who can use it
You need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to send us a project or apply to join our network. If you use the site for a business, municipality or school, you confirm you're allowed to act for them.
The site is meant for people and projects in Canada. If you use it from somewhere else, you're responsible for following your local laws.
Acceptable use
Please use the site fairly. You agree not to:
Use it for anything unlawful, misleading or fraudulent
Pretend to be someone else or give false details
Send spam, or use bots or scrapers to collect content or contractor details
Use anyone's contact details from the site for marketing without their permission
Harass, threaten or discriminate against our team, contractors or other users
Copy, frame or mirror the site, or link to it in a way that suggests we endorse you
Try to break into, overload or interfere with the site or its security
Upload viruses or other harmful files
Forms and uploads
Anything you send through our forms, including photos, should be accurate and yours to share, and must not show other people without their permission. We may remove or refuse any submission that breaks these terms.
Emails and form submissions sent over the internet are never completely secure, so please don't send banking details or other sensitive information through our forms.
Ideas and feedback
We welcome suggestions about our site and services. If you send us ideas or feedback, we're free to use them to improve what we do without paying you or owing you anything.
Contractor hub sign-in
If we give you a hub account, keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. We may suspend an account that's misused or no longer active.
Contractor hub resources
Approved contractors can download resources from the contractor hub, such as estimating templates, court dimension references and supplier contact details. These resources are free of charge and based on general industry knowledge. They are provided as is, as a starting point. You are responsible for your own estimates, quotes, measurements and layouts, and for checking figures, rates and specifications, such as product coverage rates, tax rates and court dimensions, before you rely on them. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for any loss that comes from using them.
Hub resources are for your own business. Please don’t resell, publish or share them, or your hub sign-in, outside your company. If your membership ends, you can keep using the copies you downloaded while you were a member.
Information on this site
Articles, surface guides, diagrams, contractor hub resources and examples on this site are general information and may not reflect the latest products, prices or rules. They can't replace a proper look at your site by someone qualified, and costs or timelines we mention are examples, not quotes.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to suppliers, manufacturers, social media or public resources. We don't control those sites, don't endorse everything on them, and aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
Who owns the content
The text, photos, design, templates and spec sheets on this site belong to Sport Surface King or are used with permission. You may view, download and print them for your own project or business. Please don't copy, resell or republish them without our written permission.
Sport Surface King, SSK and our logo are our trademarks. You may not use them, or anything confusingly similar, without our written permission.
Other company, product and organization names on this site and in our resources, including manufacturers, suppliers and sport governing bodies, belong to their owners. We mention them for reference only. This doesn’t mean we’re affiliated with them or that they endorse us.

Suspending access
We may suspend or block access to the site, a form or a hub account for anyone who breaks these terms. Where we need to protect the site or other users, we may do this without notice.
